付加体　(現地研修会より)

下にスライドします。 深海で作られた地層が陸地を作ります。

大陸プレートと海洋プレートの移動により、さまざまな砂と堆積物が押し合わされ、紀伊半島を構成する3つの陸塊の1つを形成しました。 これは付加体と呼ばれます。

水は山に落ち、地面に吸収されます。 雨水は地面から湧き出て、山を蛇行して新しい川を形成します。 これらの川は堆積物を運び、堆積してデルタを形成します。

Because of the shifting of the continental and oceanic plates, various sand and sediments were pushed together, forming one of the three land masses that make up the Kii peninsula. This is called an Accretionary Prism.

Water falls in the mountains and is absorbed into the ground. The rainwater wells up from the ground, and snakes down the mountain, forming new rivers. These rivers carry sediments, which accumulate to form deltas.
