音無川付加体と熊野層群の不整合を見ることができます。熊野層群は音無川付加体の上にできた前弧海盆に堆積した地層であり、両者には3000万年を超える時間の隔たりがあります。音無川付加体は泥質互層、熊野層群は礫岩・砂岩層です。篠尾集落と九重集落を結ぶ林道沿いに露頭があります。

The Kumano Group is a stratum deposited in the forearc basin formed on the Otonashi River accretionary prism, and there is a time gap of more than 30 million years between them. The Otonashi River accretionary prism is a muddy alternating layer, and the Kumano Group is a conglomerate / sandstone layer. There is an outcrop along the forest road connecting the villages of Sasabi and Kuju.
