古座川弧状岩脈がつくる双耳峰の岩山で、ナメトコ岩（流紋岩質火砕岩）、巌の巨人・豆腐岩（流紋岩（花崗斑岩）の柱状・板状節理）などの景観は見ごたえがあります。季節によりシャクナゲ、ヒカゲツツジ、キイジョウロウホトトギス、アサマリンドウなどの花を見ることができます。
