王子ヶ浜

王子ケ浜は、熊野川河口まで運ばれてきた砂礫が、沿岸流の運搬・堆積作用により砂州（礫洲）として形成されたものです。このような海岸は新宮市から熊野市まで続きます。太平洋に開けた景観と波に流されながら礫が打ち合う音の響きを楽しむことができます。アカウミガメの産卵地。神事の祓いの場です。 Ojigahama is a gravel sandbar at the mouth of the Kumanogawa River formed by the transportation of sediments by coastal currents. This kind of gravel coast goes from Kumano City, and continues to Shingu city. You can enjoythe open scenery of the Pacific Ocean, and the sound of gravel colliding as it is swept by the waves.
