The Kitayama River basin is known for the highly skilled raftsmen, who had ways to return rafts to mountain villages after guiding the rafts down to the mouth of the Kumano River. In Shimazu, the paths of the raftsmen remain present in Nakasu in the Kitayama river, and also pass over the Itaya Fault. The Itaya Fault is the geological boundary between the Ryujin Accretionary Prism and the Kumano Group. There is also a time difference of 50 million years between their formations. 位置:https://goo.gl/maps/nnpwkDYzve6XpYNZ8 |
