大雲取越

那智山から小口までを結ぶ熊野参詣道です。那智山から胴切り坂付近にかけては、マグマからできた流紋岩(花崗斑岩)からなる急峻な山塊を越えるため、熊野参詣道の難所となっています。太平洋から南風が吹き上がって、雲に覆われることの多い山越えの参詣道です。 Okumotori-Goe is one of the more difficult places of the Kumano pilgrimage routes to visit. It connects the sacred areas of Nachi and Koguchi. It is difficult to visit because it crosses a steep rhyolite massif made from magma. It is a pilgrimage route that goes over mountains.
