 万才峠道
熊野川沿いの志古から小雲取越にいたる熊野参詣道の伊勢路の一部です。明治時代まで集落があり、古い石垣の残る古道です。熊野層群の上部層が分布し、志古に向かって伊勢路を下ると、途中に志古炭鉱跡があります。




The Banze-Toge route is a part of Iseji on the Kumano Pilgrimage route from Shiko to
Kogumotori-Goe. There remains old stone walls　of a village that was on　Banze-Toge
until the Meiji Era. The upper layer of the Kumano group is spread out there, along
with the ruins of a Shiko coal mine that remain along the Kumano　River.
