孔島(くしま)・鈴島(すずしま) |
On Suzushima, you can see a characteristic landscape where the sandstone layer of the accretionary prism stands vertically. However, Kushima has both the Muro accretionary prism and the Kumano Group, and the mismatch between the two geological formations can be observed on the south-side of the wave-cut platform. The fault relationship can also be seen between the two on the east side of the wave-cut platform. There is a community of creatures lifted from the ocean such as the blue coral-worm on Suzushima. This is a trace of an uplift caused by the Nankai Trough Earthquake. Meanwhile, Kushima is a breeding ground for Styan's Grasshopper Warbler, an internationally rare bird. 位置:https://goo.gl/maps/Yff3UmXUvH4kuYibA https://goo.gl/maps/GpgjR2ExewCn6Cud8 |
